G4Box and SilverBirch Successfully Launch Beta Test of Metin2

User accounts for online game oversubscribed within the first 24 hours as
developers prepare for public launch later this summer
SilverBirch Inc. (TSX
VENTURE:SVB) announced today that 8,000 gamers are currently testing out the
English language version of the epic massive multiplayer online role-playing
game ("MMORPG"), Metin2, in an exclusive closed beta test launched on June 29,
2007.
"We know that this game is highly anticipated and we are thrilled to finally
allow some gamers a chance to experience Metin2 firsthand," said Derek van der
Plaat, CEO of SilverBirch Inc. "With an intricate degree of detail within the
game itself and unpredictable, action-packed medieval fantasy combat, Metin2
sets itself apart from other MMORPG's on the market. I am confident that once
people have played Metin2, its popularity will explode."
"The Metin2 beta user accounts have been extremely well-received by gamers,"
said Howard He, CEO of G4 Box Inc., joint venture partner in Metin2. "Within
the first 24 hours, the intended 6,000 beta user accounts were so
over-subscribed, we decided to add an additional 2,000 beta accounts."
The English-language version of Metin2 will be going live to the general public
later this summer, at which point, Metin2's revenue-generating operations will
commence.
Metin2, a 3D fantasy game involving a medieval battle of empires, is a leading
title in the MMORPG genre, one of the fastest-growing segments of the online
game market. The game currently draws more than 2.2 million players in Asia and
Germany.
