Markham, Canada – February, 14, 2007 – G4Box Inc. a publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment media, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Ymir Entertainment Co., Ltd. , a leading online game developing company in South Korea, for an exclusive license to operate Metin2, a 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), in North America. The game is expected to enter closed beta testing in North America during the summer of 2007.
Metin2 is a 3D fantasy game involving a medieval battle of empires, carried unique dynamic effect system with a compelling storyline, rich scenes and amazing graphics. The game was well received in German, China, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. Metin2 has also been licensed by an operator in Taiwan and is scheduled to enter open-beta testing in April 2007. “Metin2 will be our first game operating in North America” said Dae Young Lee, CEO of Ymir Entertainment “we believe G4Box’s experience of operating MMORPG in North America makes it the ideal partner to operate Metin2 in North America.
